ABOUT

Maybe you've gotten good at holding it together. You're showing up for your family, doing the job, and handling what needs to get done—but internally, you're exhausted, on edge, or carrying experiences that are harder to leave behind than people realize. Sometimes the ways you've learned to cope begin costing more than they help.

As a Navy veteran, I understand that military and first-responder culture can shape how we experience stress, relationships, identity, and asking for support. I work with veterans, service members, law enforcement, first responders, and the families beside them who are navigating trauma and PTSD, moral injury, anxiety, depression, substance use, and major life transitions.

You don't need to translate your experience before we can begin. My goal is to understand where you are, what you've been carrying, and what moving forward could realistically look like for you.

APPROACH

My style is direct, collaborative, and practical. Therapy gives us room to slow things down and understand what's happening, but I also want you to leave with skills and perspectives you can use outside of our sessions.

I draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused approaches, and relapse-prevention work. Depending on what you need, we may focus on processing difficult experiences, understanding patterns, strengthening coping and emotional regulation skills, or finding healthier ways to respond to stress and substance use.

I believe change begins when you feel understood. If something about therapy isn't working for you, I want us to talk about it and adjust. You set the pace, and we'll work together toward meaningful, sustainable change.
