ABOUT
I offer a grounded, person-centered approach to therapy that balances honesty with compassion. I believe therapy works best when it feels real, steady, and responsive to your lived experience—not overly clinical or one-size-fits-all.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, substance use or recovery, identity exploration, grief, or major life transitions. On the outside, you may appear steady. Internally, things feel heavier than expected.
As a queer clinician with lived experience in recovery, I understand how identity, resilience, and rebuilding through difficult seasons shape personal growth. I aim to offer a space that feels accepting and non-judgmental while also helping you recognize patterns and move toward meaningful change.
At the core of my work is the belief that clarity, confidence, and healing are possible—no matter where you’re starting from.
APPROACH
In our work together, I aim to create a grounded and collaborative space where you can slow down, build awareness, and begin developing new ways of coping.
We’ll identify what’s been getting in the way, strengthen practical skills, and create healthier emotional and behavioral patterns that support long-term growth. My work integrates trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and both harm-reduction and recovery-oriented frameworks when appropriate.
Therapy with me is conversational and purposeful. I offer honest feedback, practical tools, and space to explore what feels most pressing—while keeping your larger goals in focus.
I prioritize creating an environment where you feel respected, heard, and supported as we move at a pace that feels steady and sustainable.
