Kelly Choi
Licensed Clinical Social Worker #94367
ABOUT
Across my work in schools, community programs, healthcare settings, and foster care systems, I’ve supported individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and major life transitions. These experiences reinforced my belief that therapy must begin with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived story.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to begin. Some have spent years caring for others while minimizing their own emotional needs. In our work together, I offer a grounded, steady space where you can explore your experiences without judgment and move toward resilience, clarity, and emotional alignment.
APPROACH
I use a trauma-informed, relational approach that integrates CBT, mindfulness practices, interpersonal therapy, and family systems perspectives. My goal is to help you understand your emotional patterns, strengthen communication, and develop coping strategies that support long-term emotional wellness.
Sessions unfold at a pace that honors your readiness and capacity. I focus on building trust, cultivating self-awareness, and helping you develop skills that extend far beyond the therapy session.
